LED Power Supply: what to look for
The driver is the heart of every LED installation: the wrong one shortens LED life or causes flicker. Energex supplies LED drivers and power supplies from Meanwell and LIFUD, including waterproof drivers for strip lighting, constant-current drivers for downlights, DALI and dimmable drivers, and DIN-rail units for control panels.
To choose a driver, match the output (12V or 24V constant voltage, or a constant current such as 350mA or 700mA), allow around 20% spare wattage, and pick IP65/IP67 for outdoor or damp locations.

What is the difference between constant voltage and constant current?
Constant-voltage drivers (usually 12V or 24V) power LED strips and modules. Constant-current drivers (such as 350mA or 700mA) power LED chips in downlights and spotlights. Use whichever your fitting specifies.
