LED Strip Lights: what to look for
LED strips create the soft, hidden light that defines modern interiors: ceiling coves, headboards, mirrors, kitchen cabinets, shelving and stair treads. Energex supplies standard, COB (dot-free) and neon-flex strips, including IP67 waterproof versions for outdoor and wet areas.
For the best result, use a high-CRI strip (90+), an aluminium profile with a diffuser, and a correctly sized driver. We can supply the full set: strip, profile, driver and connectors.

COB (chip on board) strips have LEDs so close together that they give a smooth, continuous line of light with no visible dots, ideal for coves and joinery.
Which driver do I need for an LED strip?
Match the strip voltage (usually 12V or 24V) and allow around 20% spare wattage. Use a waterproof driver for outdoor or damp areas.
Do you supply aluminium profiles too?
Yes. We supply LED profiles and diffusers to go with our strips.
